Know what every dish actually costs
Supplier prices move every week. Yudo photographs your invoices, keeps your ingredient prices current, and recalculates the cost and margin of every dish the moment anything changes.
Three steps, then it keeps itself current
Photograph the invoice
Snap a supplier receipt. Yudo reads the vendor, the date, the total and every line, then matches each line to an ingredient in your catalog. It learns each supplier’s shorthand, so the same product matches itself next time.
Your catalog stays priced
Each ingredient carries its pack size, its unit and what you last paid, with the price history behind it. Count stock on your phone and everyone on the floor sees the same numbers.
Every recipe recosts itself
Build a dish from catalog ingredients and Yudo costs it — converting pounds to grams, cups to millilitres — then shows its margin against your menu price. When an ingredient price changes, every dish using it follows.
What it does
Recipes that match your menu
Sizes, flavors and the choices people make when they order — water or milk, a size, a side — live inside one recipe instead of a dozen near-duplicates. Price any exact order and see its margin.
Stock counted on the phone
Count by category, set a par level, flag what needs reordering. Counts sync live, so two people counting at once see each other’s work.
Receipts, filed
Scanned invoices stay organised by category and year, with their line items and the prices they set. Export the lot when your accountant asks.
The right people see the right things
Owners, managers and staff. Counting stock, seeing what stock is worth, viewing recipes, seeing costing — each is granted person by person, and the money stays hidden unless you share it.
English and Spanish
Everyone picks their own language on their own phone. The same catalog, the same counts, read in whichever language the person prefers.
Ask it a question
Ask what a dish costs or how yesterday went, in the app or over Telegram, and get an answer from your own numbers.
Works with your Square menu
Connect Square and Yudo reads your menu: items, categories, prices, photos, variations and modifiers. Pick the categories worth costing and they become recipes, so you start from the menu you already sell rather than a blank page.
- —Archived and off-menu items are left out
- —Prices, sizes and options come across as they are set in Square
- —A one-time copy — later edits in Yudo are yours to keep
Daily sales and labor cost come from Square too, so the day’s numbers sit beside the dish-level ones.
